Our delivery to Molde airport is just one of many conversions that Tratec Solutions will deliver to airports throughout Norway, in 2023 and 2024.
The conversions are necessary to include the new EU required X-ray machines for baggage facilities. The new X-ray machines require more space than the old machines, which can present a challenge, because the buildings are often a bit too small to simply insert the machine into the existing facilities.
Because of this we create a new and smarter solution for all airports that need this upgrade, so that the redevelopment is as optimised as possible for the individual airport.
At Molde Airport, the check-in desk is moved from one side of the room to the opposite side. A new line will also be built that goes to the old facility.
We use as much as we can of the existing facility at the airport, so that the new solution is both economically beneficial and sustainable for our customers.
